Audi Hungaria welcoming their 11,000th employee

Győr, 6 August 2014 – Audi Hungaria keeps creating new jobs and recruited their 11,000th employee today: 21-year old car mechanic Gergő Benjámin Csécsi is beginning his professional career in the new car factory. In the first half of 2014, a total of 796 experts started their careers at the company.

"As Hungary's most attractive employer, we need to strive to make sure that the best experts, like Gergő Csécsi, choose us" emphasized Dr. Elisabeth Knab, Member of the Board of Management for Human Resources at AUDI HUNGARIA MOTOR Kft. "The appeal of the company and providing optimal working conditions play a definitive role in this" Dr. Knab continued. For example, with its accommodation facilities the company provides excellent housing conditions for experts coming from all around the country.
Gergő Csécsi arrived from Pincehely in Southern Hungary, and is one of those Audi employees whose home is more than 80 kilometres from their workplace. This is why he especially appreciates the Audi Hotel only 3 km away from the factory. Half of the costs of the workers' hostel is covered by Audi Hungaria.

The 21-year old youngster is just beginning his career at the car factory of Audi Hungaria, working at full capacity after starting the series production of the new TT Coupé. The four-circle premium car manufacturer sets high expectations towards itself and its employees, too. Gergő Csécsi was greeted today personally by Dr. Elisabeth Knab after which she showed him his new workplace. "Stay open-minded, flexible and enjoy your future that is full of opportunities and challenges" suggested Dr. Elisabeth Knab to the 11,000th employee.

Audi Hungaria's car manufacturing plant employs well over 3000 employees in three shifts. They manufacture the A3 Limousine, A3 Cabriolet and now, the new TT Coupé models as well, which are completely manufactured in Győr.
The yearly capacity of the vehicle factory is 160,000 cars.
